All the Small Things

I planned on this being a longer post but the little man is going though some brutal teething and I spent most of last night up with him. It's funny because I thought we sailed through the early teeth pretty painlessly, but these pre-molars are really doing a number on him.
That said, as I was rocking my little boy to sleep last night I reflected on this past year and all the big...and little things I am grateful for. Here's my list...

*The beautiful blonde hair boy with big blue eyes that greets me with a smile every morning. I could write millions of pages filled with the things he does that I am thankful for, but the joy that fills my heart in that moment that I see his little face pretty much sums it all up.

*My husband. Not only am I thankful for the wonderful father he has become, but I a thankful for the wonderful husband he continues to be. I am grateful that he washes bottles and lets me sleep in sometimes, and I am thankful that he does all of this without me ever having to ask.

*My family. We were not always so close, but this past year a lot of relationships have been mended and I am thankful for that.

*My Other Family-aka my in laws. I seriously got so lucky is this department because all my in laws are the best. I actually look forward to spending time with them! And this year, more than ever I am thankful for them and all the help they have given us with Jack. It brings me such joy to know that Jack is surrounded by so much love.

*I am thankful that we can afford for me to mostly stay home with Jack and that I have a part time job that is flexible in allowing me to do so!

*I am thankful for good health and a happy home.

*I am thankful for my many good friends in real life and through the intrawebs.

*I am thankful for little things, like Mint Truffle Hershey Kisses, my DVR, flavored coffee creamer, family nap time, McDonald's picnic's, and Eskimo kisses.

What are you thankful for?? Link up with Julia at Working Mom Wednesday.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
